The Morf chair series is a product family, which aims to use the same seat in every model by implementing different kinds of frames to connect it to. This conceptual approach makes it possible to match the Morf to the respective application area, thus enabling it to blend into any surrounding.

With the intention of creating conspicuous simplicity in mind, a chair was designed that has a wide field of application, ranging from the dinning chair, restaurant interior or Lounge to conference rooms. The materials and manufacturing procedures were decided on early in the process in order to match the financial calculations. To meet this purpose the seats are made out of moulded plywood, while the chair bases are made out of powder-coated tubular steel or beechwood rods depending on the field of application.

The chair family was developed in the context of my bachelor thesis at the University of Applied Science Aachen.
